All ups no downs - This is NOT a review - I tried , I couldnt.
- Do not compare it with Bucket list before you see it - See it and you will know why it cannot be compared - it turned out to be different and better than the Bucket list
- Do not miss applauding Vinay Pathak and the pathos he conveys through his superb execution - He is one the finest yet underrated actor in our country
- Do not look for music - It did not need one yet it has a very supportive score by Kailash Kher
- Do not attempt to write a review for it - You will most like never come close to describing its true sense
- Do not attempt to star the movie or rate it on a scale of one to 10 or five - the attempt will be disgusting
- Do not try to appreciate this movie any further than the first impression it had on you - if it dint move you, perfectly fine - your day will come!
- Do not dismiss the movie as a regular cinema - it is clearly not made to make profits
- Do not prevent yourself from trying to build a bucket list of your own - when you are idle and you muse over your life - try thinking about 10 things you would like to do before you die - pen it down - i did - you will find it gut-wrenching
- Do not miss watching it - atleast once before you die :) It is indeed the best good bye ever.
- Do not hold back ..... if you CANNOT

i agree with you. its a very well executed movie. doesnt give you time to make those comparisons with the western counterparts. Moreover, those who called it slow (read rediff) i dunno whether they expected the list to contain 20 items?
@ Gouraj
I read the rediff review. But when I was seeing the movie, i knew none of it applied here.
A great way to write a review i must say.. Impressive...
I NEED TO WATCH THIS MOVIE BEFORE I LEAVE MY PRECIOUS COMMENT:)LOL...TILL THEN DASVIDANIYA...
@ Pavan
Thanks!
@ Sampda
Cute! Grrr... Lols
Tragic that all screens here are playing only Dostana, and movie portals don't have the full movie yet. Masand gave it 3 stars, and I've been steadily losing faith in him since he praised Race. This sounds like a much watch movie.
A piece of insignificant trivia...Dasvidaniya can be scrambled to David Syania.
@ Akshay!
My Gosh! Your scrambling skills amaze me! You are one of those nerds who look at the words and mentally break them (read: rape them) into other recognizable pieces. :-)
Watch this movie for sure - it is extremely moving and very well executed. Vinay Pathak shines!
btw, one piece of advice. do not even think of watching Yuvvraaj for the sake of reviewing (screwing, whatever) it. because it is not a movie, those are pieces of junk hurled one by one at the viewer!
@ Gouraj
Thanks! I think I will not anyway! I would have only for AR RAHMAN
Hey, Just came across your block randomly.
Pretty nice writing. I loved the movie myself and could not agree more with those 10 suggestions of yours..
@ Iti
Nice to know you liked it! I know a couple of iti s but I cant figure out which one are you :)
Huh!And here I was thinking I have a unique name. Iti@BHU.
I now feel like watching the movie after reading ur rview..u have liked it a lot ; i can see that.
I dont think that it has fared very well though
And making a top 10 list shud be quite a task and interesting too-it will make u realize so many things
@ Beryl
The movie might not have done well commercially. But I am sure in A circuits it more than broke even. As I wrote, this was not a CINEMA made for profits! :)
